zip files are messy tho. they leave a footprint on your machine: the zip
file, the unzip folder. if i need 8 documents signed, and i zip them, or
even just email them, i always get some back unsigned.

i loved binder, and miss it sorely. i did find a work around.

my main use of binder was to send docs to be signed in one file. i now
just
print *.pdf's and then merge them with a utility. works well, even with
the
extra step of saving everything as a pdf image.

The MS Office Binder was, unfortunately, discontinued by Microsoft after
Office 2000. It can be installed from an older version
using a 'custom' install and choosing just that feature (it still
installs a lot of Office 2000 just to use the function). The
Binder is, however, a 'use as is' app and it can have some issues from
newer (than when it was written) file types and features.

There isn't a 3rd party replacement for it that has been reported here
yet, although there is some talk of using XML/HTML to provide
at least the printing feature (common header/footer - page numbers) for
multiple Office file types from different apps.
