Re: Upgrade from Office 2000 to 2003

If you can find it, yes. And do yourself a HUGE favor - DO NOT LOSE THAT
OFFICE 2000 CD. (I'm not yelling - I'm strongly emphasizing the need to know
exactly where that disk is because without it, you will be up a famous creek
without a paddle. You can upgrade and upgrade and upgrade and each time you
need to prove that something "way back when" you had a full version.)

The Office 2000 that is on our Gateway came with the system when we
purchased
it, can I still buy just the upgrade for Office Pro 2003?

You cannot purchase an academic student unless you are a qualified
purchaser. As it is, you may find it difficult to find a 2003 version now
that 2007 is the latest. To get the best match, try to find the Office
Pro
2003 upgrade.

We have Office 2000 Small Business on our home computer. At school they
are
using Office 2003 Professional. I want to upgrade what we have at home
so
it's easier for my daughter to transition from what she does at school
to
the
computer here at home. What are my options, do I have to purchase the
Pro
edition or can I purchase the Academic version or the Student version?
Thanks
