It's not up to Microsoft - it's up to Dell. Since your laptop was stolen, I
assume you had adequate insurance to replace the hardware and software. That
OEM license was tied to that hardware. When you place the hardware, you have
to replace the software.

Hello
Question
I had my laptop stolen one week after purchase. Had Office 2007 Pro
on it and had activated it. It was OEM from Dell. I have the
original disk and product ID sticker.
I have police report, etc.
Do I have a chance that Microsoft will let me install it on another
machine and reactivate it.
If so who do I call?
Thanks in advance.
