Puzzling (Error) Message in Microsoft Office Picture Manager 2003

Greetings,
I am running WinXPSP2 and MS Office 2003 SP2.
I have been using MS Office Picture Manager for the past two years and I
love it, great program, very easy to use.
Today, when I opened up a picture and attempted to make a change (any change
= rotate, red eye removal, resize, crop, etc.) I am getting a message I've
never seen before. A slim message window pops up titled Microsoft Office
Picture Manager that says:
"Your edits were applied to the first 0 pictures in the selection. Do you
want to cancel the edits for the remaining 1 pictures in the selection?"
If I choose Yes (which is the highlighted choice) the action is not
performed on my picture. If I choose No, the action is performed and I can
move on. For every edit I make, I must choose No to this message.
What in the world have I done? This is a pretty straightforward program that
doesn't have a lot of complex options. Can you help me understand this
message and how I can right the situation?
Thanks!
Jennifer
