Hi Shay,
You may want to use the link below to also post this in the MS Office XML newsgroup. I'm assuming you're using Word 2003 from
either a standalone copy or from MS Office 2003 Professional edition? Word 2003 from other Office 2003 editions don't have full
support for adding a schema.

Hi,
I've been struggling with a weird behavior of the xml node placeholder in
Word 2003.
Steps to reproduce:
1. Create a new word document.
2. Attach it to an xml schema.
3. Add a 3X3 table to the document.
4. Add an xml node to one of the table cells and set the placeholder text to
some string.
5. Copy some text to the clipboard (it doesn't matter what).
6. Click on the placeholder and paste the text.
The xml node dissappears from the document.
By the way, this only happens when the xml node is placed inside a table
cell. When it is regulary put in the document it works just fine.
Is it a known bug? Is there a workaround?
Thanks,
Shay >>
