The pst can baulk when larger than 1.6gb, there isnt I believe any warning
msg, though in exchange setup there may be.
Renaming psts's may have corrupted the OL profile
Either rerun pst2gb again, followed by scanpst.exe (several times )
or use the Mail Applet in the control panel to create a new Profile, add a
new data file and your accounts

I'm running Microsoft Office 2002, and am having trouble with Outlook
freezing as it starts up. Since my PST file is over 1.82 GB, I think
I must have passed the warning point for the 2 GB limit, but did not
get the error message (despite the fact that my service packs are up
to date!). So I ran PST2GB and cut it down a bit, and ran scanpst on
the resulting file.
Unfortunately, Outlook hangs every time I try to open it, and I can't
even click through the file menus to locate/open the new pst file. So
I tried naming the new file to Outlook.pst (and renaming the original)
so that it would be loaded instead, but that didn't work long enough
to help. I can't even get in to try to compact anything or empty the
deleted items folder, because it hangs up immediately upon opening
(send/receive)! Does anyone have any other suggestions?
Thanks in advance!
