Re: Using Drop-Down Form Fields

Tech Tip: Click here to run a free scan for Windows Errors and optimize PC performance

I just used the form tool box. I didn't think I'd have to script it. Not that
I know how anyway. A newbie, I know. LOL

Any help would be appreciated though.

Thanks!

No a form built in word sill open in word and you can have drop down boxes
in it. Did you include the drop downs with a wizard or are you doing the VB
route?

It's a word form. I created a template and protected the document but when
I
open it, the drop down boxes and the check marks don't work. The only way
to
change the values is to go to the options box. I thought that if you
created
a form in word, you could open it in word and use the form. Am I mistaken?

Thanks!

Hi Rick,

Are you talking about an Info-Path form? Please be a bit more specific.

Hello all,

I am trying to create a form template that uses drop down fields. I
placed
the fields in the document, but when I open it, the drop down doesn't
appear
as a drop down. I've tried protecting and unprotecting the field but it
doesn't work. I thought it would be easier than this!!! = (

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Sincerely,
