Re: Office 2007 - blurry icons

Tech-Archive recommends: Fix windows errors by optimizing your registry

I wondered if any solution was found to this issue. I have the same
problem, and a reinstall doesn't seem to help. Is there any workaround?
It seems to me as though office is using a higher DPI than the rest of
my desktop, because the icons are blurred and overly large. I can't
think what else to do to change it.

Thanks. Yes, according to MS and IBM, my drivers are up to date. I'm not
sure how to post a screen shot. I can make a bmp print screen but don't know
how to attach it to a post.

With Clear Type both on or off, many of the icons are very blurry. I have a
1400 by 1050 laptop and a 17" lcd. Everything looks great except for Office
2007. An extreme example are the calendar forward and back arrows in
Outlook. Without the ribbon off mode in Word and Excel, it really tires the
eyes after awhile.

Any ideas?
