Please help: Can not UNINSTALL Acrobat 5.

I have been using distiller Acrobat 5 to convert MS Office documents to
PDF
by selecting distiller as a printer.

All of a sudden I began to encounter problems. Windows help suggested
reinstalling the printer driver which I tried to do by reinstalling
Acrobat
5. Regretfully The Acrobat uninstaller is corrupted and would not let me
remover the OLD copy.

What can I do.

Desperate.
