try increasing the size of
your page file.
If its set to
automatic, try custom size
instead.
Set the min to 2 mb and the max to 1152 mb
and windows will manage these sizes
accordingly regardless
of how much ram you have.
also you can also try a memory defrag like
http://www.amsn.ro/
the methods above will help
increase additional resources
if the problem is due to insufficient
or limited resources.

I have a problem with my Office 2003 programs. When I open a new email or
word document the tool bars are there but blank, the icons are not there.
When I right click off in the toolbar section, but not on a toolbar, the
toolbar fill in as they should be. None of the toolbar items work until I
right click off the toolbar. There is also a long delay when I am typing.
From 5-15 seconds and the spell checker doesn't seem to be automatically
working when the toolbar icons are not visible. I have repaired office,
but
this has not fixed the problem. I have also done a complete virus scan,
and
not viruses are found.
