Hi Bob,
Thanks for your comments. I will try one more time on this weekend with your
DAT file recommendation. then I will tell you the results. By the way,
I am using Vista Ultimate Edition (RC1) (Ver 6.0 5600) and all the available
updates already installed.
For the Office : The trial that I downloaded coming from Microsoft's link.
but the proper working version is 12.0.4407.1004 MSO 1005 Beta. This one
doesn't have any problem for installation also mainly for instant search (WDS
3.0 installation request) problem. That's why I had asked which is more new
version. If beta doesn't have this problem, 60 days trial shouldn't have this
too :)
Anyway, I will wait for final releases on shelves and I will test first with
our Microsoft partner before implement or upgrade on our system. Because, for
me Vista RC 1 with Office 2007 Beta is more reliable solution than Trial one.
So that, If the final release doesn't have any problem, it is feasable to
upgrade. If not, our existing 2003 office products more stable than any
other...
Thanks for ur comments again.

Hi Atinc,.
MS Office 2007 Trial editions are the final MS Office 2007 product that will be appearing on retail product shelves later this
month, if you're using an earlier version of Windows Vista than the Vista release version (also available as a trial) then you can
run into some of the issues you mentioned, as can not completely clearing out prior beta copies from the Office 2007 and Expression
product line series and restarting the PC before installing the 60ish day trials.
The early expiration of the trials can occur if the file opa12.DAT is damaged. If you recycle it, restart the PC then reactivate
that seems to fix that issue.
Some of the MS Office 2007 trial packages, which are images of the retail product CDs, do have two 'CD' packages that install
separately. While some of CD-2 contents are standalone, some are add-ins that require the installation of CD-1.

I am previously using Office 2007B2TR on my Vista. After I try to download
and install trial virsion I wound following problems :
1. Office Proffesional Plus 2007 pack has 2 download links which has 2
completeley different file sizes.
2. Then I download both in a different times and I try to install both
packages.
3. After install the bigger pack, it asked me for registration. When I enter
the key that I received from MS, it display, register successfull. when I
restart application, each single product of pack displays same message (Trial
expired).
4. Then I uninstall all products and I installed smaller size pack. Then
result is same even I used different key.
5. I uninstall that product too then I download Office Small Buss. 2007 pack
6. Same route for installation and registiration
7. Suprise !!!!. It gives me 60 days trial and products were running properly
8. Then I open my outlook and I saw message... 'Click to enable instant
search' for indexing service. I click and it ask me to download Windows
desktop search 3.0
9. Download it and when I try to install it display ' the product that u
tried to install is not suitable for your system :) (Because windows vista
already has this service.)
10. Finally, I unistall all of trial products and I install my previous beta
and B2TR again and there is no more problem on my office application.
I have simple question ...
Is this trial package final version (Never than Beta 2 TR) of office 2007?
If yes, why this package have this kind of faults?
Also, Is there any mistake that I did and is this my USER FAULT ?
Thanks in advance for your replies... >>
