Mutually exclusive radio buttons are not an option in Word, as it is "out of
the box".

If you want something to happen when someone makes a selection, that
requires some automation / programming in Word. It will be very difficult
for someone to give you support on that in a peer support newsgroup such as
this, if you haven't done any automation using Word before.

How are you taking online Microsoft Office training topics? Are they on a
web site? Probably a web developer was involved to create those quizzes, if
that's the case.

Check in with the programming groups for more information, however. Or with
one of the Word groups. You may find more resources there.

I don't have Info path so am not sure how that would help. How can I find
out how the test quizes used at the end of the online Microsoft office
training topics are created? I assumed this was using MS products? I
couldn't fins any help on working with forms etc in word and didn't know
if
mutually exclusive multiple choice answeres were simply a more advanced
option for these? I don't think programming would be of any help to me.
