Can you be more specific where can I find the files and settings folder you
are referring to?

An Office user's files are stored in the operating system's "Files and
Settings" folder. They will remain there if you uninstall Office and
reinstall a different version of Office.

|
| If I do this, will I lose my Outlook contact data, calendar, user settings,

| This is the closest answer I found in the data base.

| Q. How do I uninstall the trial from my computer if I decide not to convert

|
| A. It is not necessary to uninstall the trial if you choose not to convert
| the software. However, if you choose to purchase another Microsoft Office
| 2003 Edition (for example, Microsoft Office Professional Edition 2003) then
| it is recommended to uninstall the trial software prior to loading the
| software. To uninstall the trial, you should follow these steps:
|
| 1.
| To open Add or Remove Programs, click Start, click Control Panel, and then
| double-click Add or Remove Programs
|
| 2.
| Click Change or Remove Programs
|
| 3.
| Scroll down until you find Microsoft Office 2003. Please note that there
| may be nothing in the Change or Remove Programs dialog box that indicates
| that the program is a trial.
|
| 4.
| Click Microsoft Office 2003 and then click Remove, the program will then
| run through the uninstall process.
