RE: Office 2007 Install Failing on Vista 5308

I think Vista RC1 will be released to the public on Monday (at least that's what Paul Thurrot claimed). Office 2007 B2 is probably not going to run on RC1, but it should at least install. To test Office with Vista, you'll have to wait for B2TR. According to speculation in news reports, B2TR will be made available soon and to the public. In addition, it will be a patch for B2, which means you'll have to install B2 first.

I had the same problem. In another thread in this forum, a user suggested
setting install as supervisor under the compatibility tab of properties for
the install module. That worked for me. Hope this helped.
