"This Program is not Responding"

"This Program is not Responding" I have the XP Pro OS and the XP MSOffice
and it's stopping about every third time when I open Word or Excel and it's
saying "This Program is not Responding" So I go to the event viewer and it
tells me "Currently there are no Microsoft Knowledge Base articles available
for this specific error or event message." Then it tell me to search on my
own and it gives me an address which leads me to other addresses which lead
me in circles and to nowhere. I've deleted Office and reloaded Office but
that didn't help. Maybe if I go into the registry and delete office this
might do it. I have an Image backup.
Anyone have any ideas.
