Some were scanned upon download, but most were already downloaded and were
unread.

was still running will remain without body. It isn't clear from your
post whether the ones you are referring to where downloaded while it was
still running or not.

What I find interesting is all the whining here, stop it and act like
adults. YOU DOWNLOADED and Installed a beta product. Let's help each other
out in solving problems and help MS find the issues that are their
responsibilty. Then they can provide the fixes. This last paragraph is for
those posting to other threads as well.

Office is in Beta - what don't you understand about Beta?
AVG is the one that needs to work on THEIR program for compatibility, not
MIcrosoft. Pre-configuration is the job of the add-in. Talk to them about
it.
Email scanning is redundant and harmful to the Outlook send/receive
settings, causes multiple email downloads, etc. Why redundant? If you have
a real-time scanner, your email is scanned upon opening, attachments are
scanned upon opening and you cannot send a virus if your real-time scanner
is up to date. So, why use the email scanning? Marketing weasels have
figured out a way to scam more money from already scared noobs who don't
understand anti-virus workings.

||
||| Hi,
|||
||| I am experiencing a problem with Office Outlook 2007. My outlook
||| isnt rendering any mail that I recieve. Not only that, its not also
||| sending the content of the mail when i send it to any email address.
||| So the problem is two ways not being to able to send and recieve
||| mail contents through Outlook 2007.
|||
||| Outlook 2007 has this report rendering problem as if it was an
||| anticipates issue for the beta atleast. I have reporting for last 2
||| days but no response or update.

||
|| Hi Milly -
|
| Thanks for your comments regarding this issue. I, like Hammad, am
| nearly ready to uninstall 2007 and revert back to Office 2003. I,
| also like Hammad, have been using AVG Anti-Virus program. I have
| disabled AVG E-Mail scanner, but do so reluctantly. What is the
| point of using an anti-virus program if it is not scanning your
| incoming and outgoing e-mail?
|
| Do you have any idea what is going on here? This just seems foolish
| and I would expect that Outlook would come pre-configured to work
| with any and all major anti-virus programs - AVG is not that far from
| mainstream.
|
| I will allow my email scanner to languish for a few more days to see
| if this helps, but I am still inclined to uninstall 2007. In
| addition, I am getting no feedback from Report Rendering Problem. I,
| once again like Hammad, think that Microsoft has anticipated this
| problem by the very inclusion of this tool.
|
| Thanks.
