Thanks, Milly. That worked fine for "new" messages, but not for replies or
forwards. Meanwhile I have gotten a copy of MS Office SBE from my son who
works for Dell. Should I uninstall MS Office Basic before installing SBE?
Thanks again.

Uncheck using Word, install your signatures, make one the default, then.
re-check using
Word as the editor. Then when composing a new mail and your signature
appears, you can right click the signature and select any of your defined
signatures.

||| Actually I bought the Small Business version for my laptop, where it
||| installed quite nicely. My main issue is that with the Small
||| Business version of Outlook I can click on INSERT - SIGNATURE, and
||| all the signatures I have stored cup up for choice (I use about 8
||| different signatures in my business). With Office Basic, when I
||| click on INSERT, there is no line for SIGNATURE, except the AUTO
||| TEXT line, which doesn't allow optional signatures, just a default
||| one. Any suggestions?

|||
|||| You can't - "upgrading" from one version of the same Office product
|||| is considered a crossgrade update and is not supported. You should
|||| have checked the upgrade site before purchasing your version.
