Can you expand on some of this or provide some repro steps?

I haven't encountered Word crashing if I link page numbers to the
heading styles or when creating macros - I've also used a lot of the
advanced functionally.

I'm not sure what you mean about customizing the workspace but I have
several customizations, options, keyboard shortcuts, etc and no
crashes.

I find that it has some excellent features. However, it is a bit
unstable.
If you are a person that typically uses advanced program features
you may
find it frustrating. I have noticed that when I work with styles,
try to
customize the workspace, create macros, design keyboard shortcuts,

custom page numbers based on heading styles the program crashes. If
I just do
simple things like type and make the text bold it seems to be okay.
However,
if you are a person that needs to do more than that, you may find
the beta
version a source of frustration.
