Office doesn't respond well to being cloned from one hard drive to another. You should uninstall the cloned copy, and install Office to the new hard drive using the original Office XP CD and product key. If the computer won't let you uninstall the cloned copy, then you may need to use the Windows Installer Cleanup Utility as described at http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=295823 "You receive the 'This patch package could not be opened' error message in Office 2003, in Office XP, or in Office 2000".

I had MS Office XP running on my system and then my hard drive started acting up. So I bought a new hard drive. and loaded everything or ghosted it to the new drive. Now most of office doesn't work and is getting worse as time goes by. I try to reinstall Office XP and the system tells me it can not find 511974.MAINSP3ff.msp
