Re: update "microsoft office document imaging"

Tech Tip: Click here to run a free scan for Windows Errors and optimize PC performance

The office software on my desktop is Office XP professional version 2002.

Thank you for your comment thus far. Getting any useful information about
MODI is very difficult. People seem to ignore it. Yet, for me, it is far
more useful than Omnipage Pro which I also have since I do not need to OC R
large documents just very small sections of large documents.

The version on your laptop is Office 2003 supplied version. I don't know
what the other one is but it first showed up in Office XP(2002). What
Office software is installed on the desktop PC?

I find Microsoft Office Document Imaging to be one of the more useful
features of Office since it provides just the amount of OCR that I need. But
the version on my desktop is:

1.03.2349.1

And the version on my laptop, which is only a little younger, is:

11.0.1897.0

Althoguh the desktop is more powerful than the laptop the laptop runs MODI
far more efficiently and I presume that is because of the later version.

How do I upgrade my desktop to the latest version of MODI. I find it
impossible to get useful information about this anywhere.
