Re: Reinstall MSO: how can I prevent to loose my Personal Folders

Tech-Archive recommends: Fix windows errors by optimizing your registry

You will never lose data created in Microsoft Office if you uninstall and
reinstall.

However, having said that, save your .pst file (use Windows search and
enable searching hidden files) to a safe location.

First, however, you might want to post why you think your Office 2003
installation is infected. Simply removing it and reinstalling will not
remove any infection. That requires an AV product - you can use House Call
from Trend Micro to check your system. Then you should get an AV program,
one free one that works well is from http://www.grisoft.com.
