Echo (I take it your mother had a thing about Greek goddesses...? Not that
Echo was a goddess, depending on whether you read the Greek or Latin text,
she was a nymph) the only time I've ever seen a Fn key was on a laptop - and
it's going to be a helluva job at no modest expense to replace the built-in
keyboard. The OP should, as you suggested, just use an external board to work
around the problem.
PS/2 Issues ... but I'm having issues with ps2 keyboard/mouse suddenly no longer responding.... I use fedora and this has happened for the last three versions however f10 seems to be even more often. ... Periodically my system 'hangs' in that it no longer accepts input from either mouse or keyboard plugged into the PS2 ports.... I'm about to purchase a PS2->usb adapter to run my keyboard and mouse through that to see if they are affected by the issue. ... (Linux-Kernel)
