MS Office 2003 Pro Constant Save As Prompt

Tech-Archive recommends: Speed Up your PC by fixing your registry

Running MS Office 2k3 Pro on WinXP Pro SP2 on a new HP Compaq TC4200 Tablet
PC. Ever since I installed MS Office, everytime I open a document, I am
prompted to "Save As" about every 10 minutes. Doesn't matter which program I
am running - experiencing this issue with Outlook (tries to Save As the most
recent read email), Access, Word and Excel. Very frustrating. There is a
Cancel option on the Save As prompt window, but cliking Cancel will only make
the window disappear temporarily only to reappear immediately. If I
consecutively click "cancel" about 20 times, the window will eventually go
away, only to reappear in about ten minutes once again.

Any idea what might be causing this? I've tried turning off AutoSave and
also disabled the Norton Office Plug In, but this has not remedied the
problem.

Thanks in advance for any help you can provide.
