The "Kodak Imaging" came with the operating system, not Office. It was dropped in Windows XP, because Microsoft did not want to pay the increased licensing fees the owner of the license wanted. There is Microsoft Document Imaging in Office 2003. It's better in some features and lacking in others, compared to Kodak Imaging.

I loved the Kodak-based Imaging program on office 97 Pro., a copy of which I own (it is not installed anywhere now). I have 2003 pro ready to install either on a new no-frills desktop or another unit which now has the trial copy of the standard Office program on it. (I need to do a destructive restoration on the later desktop). Questions: Before I install anything, is there a comparable Imaging software package on 03 Pro? And/or, Can I install (how?) at least the Imaging software from 97 (I have concerns about the XP Service pack 2 issues and office 97)?
