Install 2003 Pro over Standard

Can Office 2003 Professional be installed over Office 2003 Standard. I
purchased Standard a few years ago and am wanting to upgrade to 2003
Professional. I have already purchased the Office 2003 Pro UPGRADE, but do
not know if I need to uninstall Standard or if I can just install
Professional over it. I am wanting to keep my emails and settings, but don't
know how. Thanks for reading.
