Re: Where are Office Data file icons?

Tech-Archive recommends: Fix windows errors by optimizing your registry

This is obviously a misunderstanding on my part. If you put the Office 2000
Upgrade CD into the virgin machine it says it can't find any previous
installation of office to upgrade, so I assumed from that that you had to
install the previous version of Office to be able to upgrade. My mistake. Re
my "minimal" installation: I only installed Word from Office 95 to save time,
since I knew it was going to be upgraded.

Does this have some impact on where the missing icons are?
