Outlook 2003 Weird Happening...

Something goofy is going on with my Outlook 2003. Never happened before
until this morning.

Whenever I attempt to create a new contact or update an existing one, I
have a problem. When I try to enter a phone number of any kind - home,
mobile, fax, whatever - I normally type in the first number, say the office
number. Then I TAB to get to the next entry area to type in the fax or
whatever number. Usually works fine.

Now, for some reason, WHENEVER I hit the TAB KEY, a window pops up. In the
title bar it reads "Location Information" and goes on to inform me that
before I "make any phone or modem connections Windows needs the following
information about your current location." with entry boxes for the
country/region I am in, area code, carrier code etc. ??

I click the CANCEL key because this is NOT what I'm trying to do, and
another window pops up which reads " Windows needs telephone information
about the location from which you will be dialing. If you cancel etc. etc "
so I click on YES to cancel.

Then it won't cancel. Another window keeps popping up every time I click
cancel and whatever this process is, it won't cancel.

I end up End Tasking out of Outlook and it shuts down and I have to start it
again, only to have it repeat this same process all over again every time I
hit the TAB key when either creating a new contact and making entries in the
phone number areas or trying to update an existing contact phone number(s).

This never happened before until today. I am NOT trying to make a phone or
modem connection. I'm simply trying to update a contact phone number or
create a new one and enter phone numbers, going from field to field using the
TAB key.

I've tried entering the phone number info I need to and NOT hit the tab key,
just click in the field and it happens then too - every time I try to enter a
phone number then move on to enter another phone number. But it seems to me
this shouldn't be a problem either way. Whether I click into the field to
ente info or tab to it.

I have broadband if that matters. Running Windows XP Home SP2.

Anyone have any idea what is going on here?

Thanks for any help!
