Hi Mike - there is a reason we fondly refer to Russ Valentine as the Fax
Doctor, as he has come 99.9% closest to figuring out Fax/Outlook/Windows Fax
Services. Read the pages he has on slipstick.com about Fax and I believe
that your opinion might change somewhat about knowing all there is to know
about faxing.

| You're welcome.. progress comes at a price.. receiving faxes by
| computer has always been a little problematic, software often being
| unable to distinguish between fax and voice calls.. hardware
| solutions like those manufactured by Avro Pacific promising great
| things but delivering not a whole hell of a lot.. there is still this
| belief that computers should be able to handle the task easily, but
| the truth is that dedicated fax machines or 'fax to email' are still
| the best solutions.. to some degree, this is personal opinion, but I
| have yet to come across anybody who has it figured out..
|
| No doubt somebody will attempt to prove me wrong.. :)
