For Microsoft Works, I don't know - this is not a Works newsgroup. For
Office, see if this article helps:
How to Replace Lost, Broken, or Missing Microsoft Software or Hardware.

Post all replies to the group to keep the discussion intact. Due to
the (insert latest virus name here) virus, all mail sent to my personal
account will be deleted without reading.
After searching google.groups.com and finding no answer, Sue asked:
| I am helping two people restore their systems after virus
| corruption. One has most of her disks for MSWorks with
| Word, but not the disk that has the sleeve with the
| license on it so I can't reinstall. The other had
| MSOffice on their computer, moved and can't find the
| disks to reinstall. Can I call someplace to see if they
| ever registered their software and get the licenses for
| each so I can reinstall the software and possibly
| replacement CDs?
