The properties indicate it is a Word document so that shouldn't be an
issue.
I don't think this is a case of a virus but it could be your own virus
scanner is preventing you from opening it. What virus scanner do you
use?
Otherwise I'm not sure why you are unable to open file attachments
from your Yahoo account. The error message indicates an issue with
Yahoo, not the Office applications.
