Hi Dave,
Disabling it will not prevent it from loading the next time Word
starts. You need to exit Word, locate it in the Startup folder and
move it out of the folder to prevent it from loading.
I'm fairly certain wfword2K.dot is placed in the Office\Startup folder
which is located in the Office installation path. You can also use
Windows Search to locate it.

My error is found in Word only. I went to the Tools/Options/File Locations, but now what? I do not see anything resembling WinFax and the stratup file is empty. > > > > > > I loaded a version of WinFax, but elected to remove it (Via Add/Remove in Control Panel). > > > > > > So how do I get rid of this messy little pop-up error box? > > >
