Tech-Archive recommends: Speed Up your PC by fixing your registry

The KB article says that the hotfix is required to fix your problem. They
take your credit card number but they do not charge you if you only ask for
the hotfix. If you start asking questions about other problems, then your
credit card will be charged as you are asking for assistance with something
other than the hotfix.

I am amazed that people do not want to spend $35 for Product Support
Services yet they will call a local computer guru who charges ~$50 an hour.
Microsoft support is for the *incident*, no matter how long it takes to fix
the issue. You are getting a bargain here, folks.

After searching google.groups.com and finding no answer, Sarah asked:

| I have a problem with trying to load a powerpoint
| presentation from a web page. I am using Office 2003.
| When I did a search on support.microsoft.com it referred
| me to a hotfix 835704, but I can't find it to download
| it. I don't want to give my credit card number to be able
| to call them. How can I find this hotfix without using a
| credit card.
|
| Thank you for your help
