The pop-up list is formed from addresses that you have already typed in. It
is not derived from your contacts. The best you can do is after the name
has been resolved in the TO: field, right click on it and select Add to
Contacts.

After searching google.groups.com and finding no answer, Alf asked:
| Hi
| just a quickie before the weekend.
|
| In Outlook XP, when I want to add a recipient to an outgoing message,
| I start writing the recipient name and I get a tiny pop up list of
| suggestions based on previous recipients.
|
| I can't figure out where Outlook has stored these names but
| I would prefer to have these folks in an ornery address book where I
| can edit them.
|
| Anyone know how to get control over this pop up list?
|
| TIA
|
| Rosaline, Alf or Norbert.
