Am I missing applications that I should have received? How to get
them? My XP Pro computer was supposed to be shipped with "MS Office XP
Small Business Edition with PC Doctor" installed. This was a "separate
product", and has a separate part number on the invoice, for which I
paid extra. It shipped with a recovery disk, and two "MS Office XP
Small Business" disks, v. 2002.
The computer has MS Word, Excel, Publisher, and PC Doctor. The
computer does not have Powerpoint, Outlook, Access, or Frontpage. A
search of all files has not revealed the missing apps. In accessories
> system tools > system information > office 10 applications, the four
"missing" applications are each named in a subcategory, but their
summaries indicate that they "have not been started or installed." I
used the two Office disks shipped with the product to "repair" the
installation, and still do not have these applications. I can't seem
to be able to explore the content of the disks either. Research of the
Office XP SB suite suggests that these apps. are included in the
suite.
Asking here first before making the dreaded tech support call. Any
input or suggestions are greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance. K
