We are currently trying to rollout SP3 for our Office XP Users on a Win2k Domain but have hit a problem.

Had previously posted this thread but no-one replied.

Our Win2k SOE Machines are imaged with Office XP SP2 already on them.
When we try and remotley install SP3 via a batch file we run into problems where the SP3 prompts for a source location during the install this is even if the silent install parameters are specified.

Even more interesting is that on some machines we don't get any prompts and on other get get asked to click ok to reboot.

Would this be because our Office XP Installs that are on our Win2k Images are not fully installed with all the options in Office?

We don't yet run SMS but plan to down the track.

What is the best way to remotely deploy Office XP SP3 to Win2k Users on a Windows 2000 AD domain.
