I checked the MS Online KB and found the following article:
OFFXP: Insufficient Disk Space Error Message or Error 25202 When You Install
Office XP
http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=280661
It details 3 different options:
Method 1: Make More Free Space Available on the Hard Disk
- you've got heaps
Method 2: Install Microsoft Internet Explorer to a Different Partition
- hmmm, only if you IE 5.02 or earlier so not you
Method 3: Install Office Without Internet Explorer
- sounds worth a try - details are:
To install Office XP without installing Internet Explorer, follow these
steps:
1.. Click Start, point to Run, and then type the following in the Open box
drive letter:\SETUP.EXE NOIE=TRUE
where drive letter is the letter for your computer's CD-ROM drive. Click
OK to continue.
2.. Continue through the Setup program, and select the options as you
normally would to install the Office components.
Good luck,
Franksta
