Office 2000/xp WITH PROJECT 2003

I have windows 2000 pro and office 2000 pr installed on my machine.I recently
installed project professional 2003 .Now when I access an internal web site
whcih has SSL enabled and try to open a word document as attachment it opens
up with ease. But the real problem is while closing the document. As soon as I
close the document a client authentication window comes up and says that the
web site that I intend to view needs a certificate which I can pick fromt he
list .However there is no certificate to pick .I click ok 10 to 12 tiles and
the window goes away.It reappears as soon as I try to close any other
document which I have opened. This happens only with word documents.pdf, ppt or
any other document type causes no problem. Now if I upgrade my office to 2003
the problem goes away.So it looks like that project 2003 kind of modifies a
dll or does something to word 2000/xp.Kindly sugest me something.Thanks.
