When I see something like that, it usually indicates a document embedded in
another document (or Excel *** or PPT presentation or some other application)
has been activated via an OLE interface. Like when you double-click an Word
document in an Excel *** and it opens in a Word window, instead of using
in-place activation within the Excel window.
IOW, a file isn't being opened from disk.
