Hi @ everyone, I'm new here and I don't know if this is the right place for
my question. Let's have a try.
I want to implement a new activeX-control in a excel-form. This new control
has a new event. On the control was an older version of this control
implemented before. So first i deleted the old control from the form. Then I
removed the additional control from the toolbox and the reference in
"Tools\References", saved and reopened... Next I added the reference to the
new control in "Tools\References". Then I added the control again to my
form.... but the new event wasn't available. What's confusing is: if I take a
look to the control in the object browser I see this damn event!
So I started an experiment. I did the say again but in other direction. I
mean, I created a new excel*** on another pc. In this *** I implemented
the newer control first. The event was available. But then I wanted to
implement the older Control.... Same procedure as before... And the event is
still available!!! If I look to the object browser the event isn't there. So
I created once again a new excel-*** on the second pc. This time I wanted
to include the older control first. But again.... I see the new event in the
code and in the object browser it's not available. The best is, I can change
name and filetype of the new control and the new event is still available!?
It seems that the system has made a backup of the file. I have reed something
of oca files in msdn. But I also can't find any oca files on my system.
Has anybody a clue what I do wrong? I drive crazy lol
oh by the way: excuse my english, it's not my motherlanguage ;)
