It's a matter of bandwidth usage, some users possibly using dial-up and especially when paying by the minute for connection time, and some ISP's rejecting logons that are too frequent.
If what you want is Send/Receive All, that would be the equivalent of synching every SyncObject.
You can also simulate any command that's in a menu by getting that CommandBarControl and calling its Execute method. There's sample code on www.outlookcode.com for doing that with various controls.

" but that's going to be language dependent."
And therein lies my problem.
Since there is no real "All Accounts," only the one that is generated by
Outlook at install time. What am I left with?
I can sync Item 1, but as you pointed out that may be worthless. It is
possible the user essentially turned the first item off.
Is there a problem with syncing an account more than once? The first time it
should sync, the second time should essentially be a NOP, unless new mail
came in while I as syncing a second account.
I want to mimic what would happen if the user selects "Send/Receive All" But
it doesn't look like that is possible via automation.
