When I create an outlook event and add some recipient to it, that recipient
is sent a specially formatted email message about that event that actually
adds the event into the recipient's calendar.
I'd like to do something like that from a third party tool, i.e. craft an
email message based on data in a sql server db and send it to a recipient and
have that event be added to the recipient's calendar.
Is that specially formated email message really the way outlook recognizes
an event and creates an entry? I tried this approach but nothing got created
in calendar. Are there some other special conditions regarding that email
that's sent when multiple recipients take part in an event?
