Re: Organisational Forms Library

This has nothing whatsoever to do with the Outlook object model security guard.

Think about it: Item.Send attempt to resend the item ***the user received****. It's not a new message. It already has a sender stamped on it. The user would get a similar error if they tried to resend it manually.

You can't resend the original received item, unless you send it as an attachment to a new message or forward it. Take your pick.

I'm frankly surprised you got that much to work if you're sending these forms outside your organization to your customers. Outlook is the last application I'd choose to do a customer survey.

Thanks for the advice, I have tried the options and I'm now able to
mail out the Form. However, when the customer fills it in and presses
the submit button (item.save - item.send) they get the following
error message (You do not have permission to send the message on behalf
of the specified user). I have checked the posting on this Group and
although there is one solution for "forwarding" it's not really
where I want to go.

What's causing this error and how can I get around it? The process is
not complicated i.e Send the Survey Form (the one I have created) to a
Customer, get them to fill in the tick boxes and press the Submit
button which emails it back to me. The Form is in the Organizational
Forms Library and I have opened the "Security Settings Form" wide
open so there shouldn't be anything in there which is causing this.
