Re: "Entry Type" field missing values

I'm not getting an error in the running of the code, it runs fine, but
when I look at the journal entries later, the values are missing from
the display. So say I'm reading my email. I want to enter a new
journal entry, so I click on the little green journal button, and am
presented with a list of the journal entries I have made. In the left
pane, where your folder list is by default when you're reading mail,
there's a radio button to display the entries "By Type", "By Contact",
"By Category", etc. I have to select the "Entry List" option in order
to see anything in the right pane at all. The timeline view shows no
entries at all, but the list view shows the list of entries with the
details correct except for the missing values in "Entry Type" and Start
and End always having the value none. Now, when I click on an entry,
the fields show up properly in the form, but if I save the entry and go
back to the list view, the Entry Type field still contains nothing.
So the value is there, the code is working as it should, but it's just
not being displayed properly in the list or timeline views. Here's
another interesting thing: I can hit Ctrl-Shift-F. type a word often
found in my subjects, hit find, and get the correct list of entries.
However, this only works if I have "All types" selected in the "Journal
Entry Type" box. If I select a type, I get no results, no matter which
type I select, and I tried them all.
I've tried to do a "detect and repair" with no success.
I just don't understand how the entry has the correct information, and
remembers it, but somehow it can't be found when you try to look for it
in any other way other than actually opening up the entry.
Is that more clear?
