Thank Sue.

I was afraid of that. The Parent of the "Reply" has Outbox.
It seem like their should be some attribute of the parent message such as
the source message ID which would make it very simple to grab the original
message and get it's parent and folder. That would make the chain unbroken.

I'm betting there is s residue somewhere that maay behave like this.

Can I dereference the MAPIOBJECT to see if it contains a residue from the
copied message. Maybe it's not a copied object so that wouldn't work. Do
you know? Can you find out.
