Shimming questions

OK, so I have some addins that I am ready to go public with, and have
shimmed the addin dll which is strongly named etc. However, as a
shareware/independant guy that just wants to get some stuff out there in the
addin market, I don't have authenticode access etc. So why would I even
want to shim my app? Doesn't seem that this gives me any advantage unless I
want to choke up the cash and try to get authenticode.

Any Comments?

Paul
