All reports to the contrary

I'm one of the contrary voices here. I personally worked on codecs included in that package, it touches upon aspects of system I worked on, and I know more about multimedia stability concerns than I would expect anyone else to. I would expect others who do not have a full understanding of this area not to have noticed problems. It's been that way for years now, which is why I stupidly have had many times to go try to indirectly track down these people and get them to fix their stupid amateur problems. It's pretty stupid when people are simply shipping other people's work "for free now" and yet still manage to screw that up.

If you're defending that codec pack unconditionally, you're wrong. Shark knows it. It's OK: this field has been confusing a lot of people for a long time which is why I finally decided to stick my foot down and actually start talking truth to bad piracy.

CCCP is the only mostly reliable package I know of that has not done significant damage to people's systems.

Thanks and much respect,
-Zach
