What audio codec does the file use?
What version of the player are you using on what exact version of Windows?

Hi
I have an .avi files that has no sound in WMP. Do I need to d/l a new
plugin?
The file has no sound in real player either, and real player tells me
that "The file contains an unsupported file format, the needed codec
is not installed on your system". The video works fine in Real player
and wmp.
How do I find out what I need to have sound in that file?
