Re: WMP9 Won't open WPL or WMA files.

This is a new installation of XP Pro with SP2, on a new computer, and
my playlists (WPL Files) when double clicked, used to open in Media
Player automatically. However, after installing some other software,
including Nero Ultra 8, double clicking on a WPL file will no longer
start Media Player. The same is true for WMA files, if double
clicked, nothing happens. I've checked the file associations, on all
say they open with Media Player. If Media Player is running, then
double clicking the files opens them properly, but MP won't start by
itself. If I right click either file type, and select open with, and
Media Player, all works well. Any ideas?

Never mind, I just installed WMP11 and that took care of the problem.
