Here is an idea for my own question...and just want to ping it off you good
folks.
Set a GPO with the following:
User Configuration -->
Windows Components -->
Windows Media Player -->
User Interface -->
Set and Lock Skin<--
It is my understanding...that if the skin is locked, then some of the
features in Media Player are not available to the User. This is depending on
what skin is used of course. Any truth to this???
Am I on the right path...or do I have my skins wedging up!
Thanks,
bAshley

Is it possible to disable the RIP function in Windows Media Player v10 and
v11? Doing so using a GPO would be the best method...if possible.
OS= Windows XP SP2
Media Player= Version 10 and 11
NO ripping to mp3 format wanted...and trying to stop that function...
Please help! Thanks...
