What a strange problem with my XP.

Windows crashes when i try to play any kind of video file and it is not
related to wmp only, it happens with all applications. Even Ulead video
studio crashes when I try to preview a simple transition between only two
images!? Any hint!?

I've tried to install latest K lite codec pack but no changes, I've only
fixed dvixi playing with installing latest xvid version but I still have
problems with all other video formats except the flv.
